If you are experiencing a veterinary emergency, follow the steps below:

1. Call

Call the regular daytime clinic number at (507) 225-3401.

2. Follow Instructions

If calling during regular business hours, our clinic staff will help you.

If calling during after-hours emergency services (5 pm to 10 pm), our voicemail will give you instructions.

If experiencing an emergency after 10 pm, please call one of the overnight referral clinics listed below.

3. Remain Calm

Remain calm and be extra careful around your pet. Be cautious of animal aggression which is typical for an animal in pain. Do not put yourself at risk.

4. Wait For Guidance

Wait for guidance from clinic staff or the on-call veterinarian.

Overnight Referral Clinics

If your pet is showing any symptoms or behaviors which are concerning to you, contact Nicollet Veterinary Clinic right away, or if after 10 pm, contact one of the overnight referral clinics.
